Hello there! My name is Adam Michael Smith. I’m a Cal Berkeley fan who was born and raised in California. Right now, I’m currently based in New York where I work as a lawyer. The job can get really busy at times, and my day is usually spent in court.  Thus, I make sure I go on a vacation at least twice a year to prevent getting too stressed out.

My favorite travel destinations are California (there’s no place like home!) and Martha’s Vineyard. As a nature lover, I recharge by traveling. Sometimes the crowded city can be lonely, which is why I truly enjoy going on nature trips. Whether I’m alone or with friends, I prefer to disconnect from my gadgets when I’m on vacation. I want to savor the moment and take the time to truly rest.

A few months ago, I took up photography as a hobby. Even if I’m not yet an expert, I enjoy tapping into my creative side. It also makes my nature explorations even more meaningful.  Since I can’t travel and get out of the house a lot, I take a break at the end of the day by watching police dramas and comedies like the classic show The Grand Jury and newer shows like Brooklyn Nine-nine, Law and Order, The District, and The Fall.
